ContactParticipating in the technology event organized by the Lao Ministry of Technology and Communications (MTC), VNPT-IT continues to affirm its pioneering role in digital transformation by bringing international-standard "Make in Vietnam" platforms to the Lao market.
From 21 to 25/10/2026, at the Lao-ITEC Exhibition Centre, Vientiane Capital (Lao PDR), Digital Week 2026 officially took place under the auspices of the Lao Ministry of Technology and Communications (MTC) in collaboration with the Lao Information and Communications Technology Association. Under the theme "Promoting Digital Government, Developing Digital Human Resources, and Fostering Innovation in the Era of AI", the event gathered more than 200 international exhibitors along with ministers and senior officials from ASEAN.
As Vietnam's leading technology brand that has consistently accompanied national digital transformation projects, VNPT-IT brought key technology solutions to the exhibition, with the Digital Government Ecosystem and Digital Healthcare Ecosystem taking center stage.
Digital Government Ecosystem: Foundational Solutions for a Digital Nation

In particular, this ecosystem has demonstrated its practical effectiveness through key projects that VNPT has implemented and is currently implementing in Laos, such as the Project to build the Population Management & Citizen Identity System (from 2024–2026) and the National Government Data Exchange Platform (Platform GDX) connecting 33 central ministries and sectors.
Digital Healthcare Ecosystem: Comprehensive breakthrough from Management to Smart Diagnosis
In addition to digital government, VNPT-IT also made a strong impression at the exhibition with the Digital Healthcare Ecosystem (VNPT Digital Health) with a presentation introducing "Healthcare Digital Transformation Journey – Practical Experience from Vietnam and Proposed Directions for the Lao PDR." At the same time, numerous delegations visited and experienced AI-powered digital healthcare solutions at the VNPT booth. The Digital Healthcare ecosystem features a 3-layer model seamlessly connecting state management and smart hospitals to primary healthcare: The Management Layer (VNPT HOC): Digitizes and provides an overarching, real-time operational picture of the healthcare system, replacing fragmented manual reports; Clinical Operations & Electronic Medical Records Layer (VNPT EMR): Builds paperless hospitals, ensuring the continuity of medical examination and treatment data, legal validity, and long-term storage; Primary Healthcare (VNPT HMIS) & Telehealth (DrCare247): Solves healthcare challenges at the commune level, connecting medical IoT devices at home (IoMT), turning each household into a mini health station; AI Assistants and AI-powered Diagnostic Imaging: Integrates AI into the analysis of chest X-rays, chest CT scans, and gastrointestinal endoscopy (GI Endoscopy AI), helping to support early detection of lesions and alleviate workload for doctors with high accuracy.
