At the meeting, the two sides agreed to translate the cooperation areas into clear action programs, plans, and digital transformation products and services. They also agreed to assign responsibilities to each unit and link progress to deliverables. Their top priority is to improve the practical use and effectiveness of the systems already deployed.

At the meeting, Ca Mau Province’s leaders shared the province’s position: deliverables and the benefits they bring to residents and businesses will be the measure of success. The province aims to build a shared data repository that is “accurate, complete, clean, and up to date.” Digital economic and social development will prioritize agriculture, the marine economy, tourism, and education. For digital government, the province will pilot a digital transformation model at the commune level. To achieve these goals, Ca Mau will work with VNPT to implement practical, in-depth digital transformation solutions and avoid spreading efforts too thin or duplicating work.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Le Xuan Son, Deputy General Director of VNPT -IT, said VNPT hoped to continue working alongside Ca Mau, prioritizing shared solutions, putting data at the center, and measuring the province’s digital transformation implementation by its real-world impact.
