The CloudWave 2026 event with the theme "Build to Adapt – Fostering Adaptability"
Build to Adapt – Creating a Digital Platform Ready for Change
In the context of digital transformation entering a new phase of development, businesses not only face the need to improve operational efficiency but also must continuously adapt to rapid changes in technology, markets, and the business environment.
The advancement of artificial intelligence (AI), the need for real-time data processing, and increasingly complex cybersecurity challenges are placing new demands on IT infrastructure. Accordingly, investments in technology platforms must be viewed not only from the perspectives of performance or cost, but also through scalability, flexibility, security, and the ability to maintain continuous operations.
Against this backdrop, CloudWave 2026 chose the theme “Build to Adapt – Creating Adaptability”, emphasizing the importance of building digital platforms capable of meeting business changes in the long run.
Opening the program, Mr. Pham Huy Hoang – General Director of VNPT Information Technology Company (VNPT-IT) – offered a strategic perspective through the topic “Build to Adapt: The New DNA of Digital Enterprises – Creating a New DNA for Digital Enterprises”.

Mr. Pham Huy Hoang – General Director of VNPT-IT shared directions on building adaptive capabilities for digital enterprises.
The opening session focused on the imperative of developing adaptive capabilities within enterprises, as technology infrastructure, data, security, and AI become increasingly intertwined. In this context, Cloud is recognized as a vital foundation enabling enterprises to proactively adjust resources, develop applications, and respond to emerging business requirements.
The overarching message underscored at CloudWave 2026 is that enterprises need not merely more powerful technology infrastructure, but rather a platform that is sufficiently flexible, secure, and proactive to be prepared for future disruptions.
Sovereign Cloud – The Foundation for Building Trust in the Age of AI
One of the focal topics at CloudWave 2026 was the issue of data sovereignty and technological autonomy in the context of the rapid development of AI.
During the Keynote session “Sovereign Cloud: Building Trust in the Age of AI and Geopolitics”, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Khanh – Deputy Director of Cloud Computing Center VNPT Cloud – focused on the topic of Sovereign Cloud in the era of AI and geopolitical fluctuations.

As data increasingly becomes a strategic asset, businesses need to pay attention not only to data storage and processing capabilities, but also to ensuring control, privacy, legal regulatory compliance, and the degree of independence in operating technological infrastructure.
In particular, the application of AI is increasing the demand for managing data and highly sensitive information processing systems. This sets the requirement to build a Cloud environment capable of simultaneously meeting the criteria for security, data governance, and operational continuity.
It can be seen that the role of Cloud is not only as a technology infrastructure platform, but also as a factor supporting enterprises to build digital trust, strengthen data control, and become more proactive in their digital transformation strategy.

Topic: Sovereign Cloud in the AI era, presented by Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Khanh
