The VNPT spirit of camaraderie – Values ​​upheld over 81 years

Throughout 81 years of development, generations of Vietnam's postal workforce have not only upheld traditions of hard work and dedication but have also cultivated enduring humanistic values. Among these, the bond of collegiality, the spirit of sharing, and a sense of responsibility toward the community have become integral parts of the VNPT corporate culture.

Amidst the fast pace of modern life, these values ​​continue to be demonstrated through practical, heartfelt actions. The recent collective effort to support Mr. Truong Van Tung's family serves as a simple yet deeply meaningful testament to this spirit.

Many hearts united in support of a family

Mr. Truong Van Tung currently works at the Digital Education Solutions Center under VNPT-IT. His family is facing a difficult time as his two-year-old son, Leo, is battling leukemia and requires a stem cell transplant.

After the family's situation was shared, the appeal for help received a warm response from numerous groups and individuals. Support poured in from the leadership, the Trade Union, and staff at the Digital Education Solutions Center and VNPT-IT, as well as from other units within the Group, colleagues, relatives, friends, and many kind-hearted individuals.

Everyone chose their own way to help—whether by contributing financial resources, sending words of encouragement, or spreading the word to garner further support for the child's treatment journey. Though the actions varied, they all shared the same goal: to give Mr. Tung’s family the strength and means to overcome this challenging period.

Providing resources and standing in solidarity

On August 14, the VNPT Trade Union presented a savings book worth 50 million VND to assist Mr. Tung's family with Leo's treatment.

Ms. San Thi Binh, Vice President of the VNPT Trade Union, presented the savings book and conveyed words of encouragement and support to the family. Mr. Le Xuan Son, Deputy General Director of VNPT-IT, and Mr. Phan Hoai Nam, Chairman of the VNPT-IT Trade Union, attended the event to personally offer words of encouragement, urging the family to remain confident as they face the journey ahead.

The care shown by leadership and the Trade Union provided vital support and encouragement to Mr. Truong Van Tung’s family during little Leo’s treatment.

This assistance offered not only material aid but also immense emotional encouragement. Knowing that their organization and colleagues stood ready to share the burden during such a difficult time gave the family the faith and strength to continue their child's treatment.

At the program, Mr. Truong Van Tung emotionally expressed his family's sincere thanks to the professional leadership, the Trade Union leadership, and all VNPT and VNPT-IT officers and employees for their care, encouragement, and support.
