He further highlighted that VNPT has been researching and developing a range of digital transformation solutions, particularly for the Industry and Trade sector. Integrating new AI 4.0 technologies to create comprehensive management tools, such as dynamic reporting systems, AI assistants, SmartBots, and SmartVoice, is essential. Ensuring the security of IT systems and specialized data remains a priority.

Mr. Nguyen Truong Thi, Deputy Director of the Binh Duong Department of Industry and Trade, shared insights on the initial stages of the department’s digital transformation. He explained that the data management system was previously quite manual, with fragmented information stored in various locations. Reports and statistics had to be manually compiled, making it difficult to manage business data effectively.

In the first phase of digital transformation, the department achieved initial success by digitizing and managing more than 50 data classes from specialized departments (such as gas stations, markets, shopping centers, enterprises handling hazardous chemicals, and key energy consumers). Additionally, about 46 data tables containing dynamic enterprise information (e.g., incident records, equipment for incident response, storage details, and annual revenue) were digitized. This data was also integrated into the provincial IOC (Intelligent Operations Center) to support executive management.

The workshop also featured discussions on global and national trends in the digital transformation of the Industry and Trade sector. Attendees explored VNPT's strategy for building data infrastructures to drive local economic growth and the development of a product-service ecosystem tailored to the sector's future digital transformation needs.…
