VNPT expands technology connections at the Vietnam–Japan Digital Technology Forum 2026

On 02/10/2026, in Tokyo, Japan, the VNPT International Solutions Center (VGS) - under the VNPT Information Technology Corporation (VNPT-IT) - represented VNPT at the Vietnam - Japan Digital Technology Forum 2026, helping expand connections with Japan’s technology business community and seek cooperation opportunities in digital technology.

With the theme “Vietnam–Japan Digital Synergy: Co-creating the Future with Artificial Intelligence & Deep Technology,” the Forum brought together more than 250 senior leaders and representatives of technology companies from both countries, focusing on cooperation opportunities in AI, deep technology, modernization of CNTT systems, and the development of technology products and solutions.

VGS showcased its technological capabilities and expanded its connections in the Japanese market

As part of the Forum, VGS participated in the exhibition area and showcased the technological capabilities of VNPT, directly connecting and engaging with businesses, partners, and attendees from Japan and Vietnam.

At the VNPT booth, representatives of VGS introduced the development direction of the AI-Driven Global Delivery Center, along with its capabilities in providing technology services to international markets in areas such as Application Engineering, Cloud & Platform, Data & Database, DevSecOps & Observability, Quality Engineering, and AI & Intelligent Automation.

The meetings and direct discussions at the event enabled VGS to gain a deeper understanding of Japanese businesses’ technology needs, while sharing information about the implementation capabilities, technical workforce, and technology ecosystem of VNPT.

Strengthening Vietnam–Japan technology cooperation

One of the points emphasized at the Forum was the  shift from a service-provision partnership model to co-creation and co-development, in which businesses from both countries jointly define challenges, research solutions, and bring products to market.

This approach is also aligned with VNPT’s international development strategy of accompanying customers and partners from needs identification through the development, implementation, and operation of technology solutions.

In particular, the need to modernize long-standing CNTT systems, apply AI, and develop deep technologies is creating numerous cooperation opportunities between Vietnamese and Japanese businesses. Direct participation in industry forums helps VNPT gain closer insight into the market’s real-world challenges, thereby identifying suitable cooperation models with long-term implementation potential.

Expanding presence and targeting international markets

Participation in the Vietnam - Japan 2026 Digital Technology Forum is one of VNPT’s activities aimed at expanding its partner network and strengthening its presence in international markets, particularly in Japan -, one of Vietnam’s key technology markets.

Through networking and discussions at the event, representatives of VGS continued to showcase VNPT’s technological capabilities to the international business community, while seeking new cooperation opportunities in software development, AI, Cloud, Data, and digital technology services.

The connections established at the Forum will provide a foundation for VGS to continue in-depth discussions with partners in the coming period, with a view to specific and long-term cooperation programs between Vietnamese and Japanese technology businesses, contributing to the realization of Go Global direction of VNPT.
